I would definitely recommend Brighthouse. You do not get the villages channel at this time, but we have found that to be no problem at all since most of us get the daily sun paper. The customer service at Brighthouse is amazing, they have technicians available 365 days a year. We have called at 7:00 in the evening and had someone here at 8:30 the next morning. The Internet service has been great, we have yet to get knocked off the system ( can't say we had that experience previously with Comcast).

We went with the same thing we had in Michigan, Direct Tv for television and Comcast for internet and phone. No problems at all and quite efficiently handled (so far).

We just switched from Comcast to Centurylink. Many upgrades and a better price, and $150-250 for signing with them from now until year's end, I think.

We started with Comcast as we were told they or Centu'rylink were the only options. Comcast install was sloppy and incomplete. We felt like we were being nickle and dimed as we went along. We then found out that Brighthouse was prewired in our neighborhood (Charlotte). We changed to BH and couldnI't be happier. The install was flawless, the tech was polite, helpful and didn't leave until we were totally satisfied.

Our landscaper cut through our cable the day before the Super Bowl and I dreaded calling it into customer service at 4 PM on a Saturday. I figured that we were screwed. Much to my surprise, BH was here and restored our cable within 1 hour and 10 minutes of being cut. Their service is phenomenal!

Having experience with Comcast and CenturyLink on the north side of 466a, when I heard we had options on the south side of 466a, we went with Brighthouse and are extremely pleased. Thus far, their Customer Service has been exceptional. I also don't really miss TV channel as I read the paper each morning. I dont know if they are still offering what we received, but had free installation for 7 cables, Internet and phone for $122 a month, no contract but price stays the same for 2 years. Best wishes on your new home.

Linda, you forgot to mention how wonderful and helpful your sales rep was.

In all seriousness, if anyone has any questions as to what we offer, please feel free to contact me. I feel dollar for dollar our services are the best in area. We offer long price locks, no contracts, the fastest internet speeds, local reps and service techs, no service, and much much more.

We do not currently offer The Villages Channels. This is mostly due to us being new to The Villages. I would imagine if we get enough subscribers over the next few years, the demand grows enough, and we can negotiate a reasonable price, we will eventually offer the channels. Now, this is purely speculation. These decisions are made way way way above me.

If anyone needs any more information, please feel free to contact me by any of the methods listed in my signature.

Thank you!!

I absolutely would recommend contacting Paul Muniz directly. He took care of everything for us. As we were driving to the airport for closing he answered all my questions and had the install set up for us the afternoon we closed. He is the best! It was one thing I could check off my list. I personally worked in Customer Service Management with a major corporation for many years and Customer Service is something I expect. IMHO, Brighthouse "cares and appreciates" their customers and offers an excellent product/package for our needs.

Are there any plans for Brighthouse north of 466a?
