I like reading about all good deals at restaurants that are closed.
The sales fliers with toilet paper on sale.
Like rubbing your face in what you can't have

Not being able to read the paper--one more thing we can't do while stuck inside!

I agree with you about taking chances. Actually, I'm thinking about ORDERING the paper now that we will not be leaving for probably 10 months.

Just wear gloves to get the paper out of its plastic bag and then wash your hands before and after reading it.

Pretend you just went to the grocery store to buy it.

In an emergency birth the most sterile thing to use is a newspaper. Not touched by humans from the time paper is made and out on a roll, not touched durning printing. Only time it is touched is when it’s taken out of bundle, and outside page is folded.

More than once we used to get the newborn wrapped in newspaper delivered in the back of a car.

I would bet the person that is wearing gloves, otherwise on some days their hand would never get the print off. The gloves is just my thoughts

Wadda ya mean?! I cook for my wife and I every day, and I very nearly sterilize my hands about 10 X a day to be sure I won't infect her or myself.

By the way, are all y'all aware that it is IMPOSSIBLE to totally sterilize your skin? If you could do it, it would destroy the skin. There is always tiny, tiny areas on your hands where a tiny, tiny droplet of coronavirus can land. If that droplet gets to any of your mucous membranes, you WILL get an infection. Hopefully, you will not die of it.

Put a hold on it, not worth the risk

Yes, The Daily S-- is not helping to curb the spread of the virus. Just read the stories and pictures they print about the great social gatherings still going on in TV. B3 today. They just don't get it.

I am thinking of suspending delivery, but meanwhile I let it sit in driveway in the sun until 3pm or later. The exposed paper actually has turned yellow by then! I still wash my hands after handling it.

I just put the paper on hold indefinitely until we get through this.
The only thing I will miss is the Crossword/Jumble page anyway.
Everyone, stay safe.
