The roads are the county's responsibility, but, per Janet Tutt, the CDD pays the county extra for maintenance because it expects better maintenance than what the county would typically provide.

What happens when TV is completed and there are no new homes (bonds) to sell?

The amenities will still be rolling in. The developer still owns all that pretty landscaped area we don't live on and still gets rent on all the commercial property too. It is a for profit business and will continue to be.

I posed that very question to the uppity ups in the sales office when we put money down to begin building our new house about a month ago. The family still has thier primary home in that huge area in the middle north of 466 (across from the new Laurel Valley)

I think it will be alright. We voted with our wallet a month ago...again.

The last time the Villages had fireworks was for New Years Eve, 1999. We have too many people now. Too populated.
