Default Can't attach a photo to a PRIVATE MESSAGE or use a VPN to log in here

Seems I have no option to send someone an attached photo via PM any longer. There used to be. The only way is a direct link to a file share server like Dropbox or PostImage and have person open it that way which can be unsafe. Can't even INSERT (yes, you can attach) a photo any longer even into a public message text as used to be common on here. Can't imagine why an attached file option isn't available in a private message yet is on the open forum?

Also can't use a VPN service to log in to TOTV. VPN's are now commonplace for browsing safety and privacy. Even Apple provides on in current iOS 15 built in to the OS. They are offered by all the major Anti-Virus providers and standalone, I have tried 3 different major commercial ones. Constantly have to turn it off then back on.

Posting here because "support" never answers questions so maybe they would see this and confirm changes or explain here.

I'm connected on a VPN right now and it works just fine. I even logged out and logged back in just to make sure it wasn't caching something.

That said, I'm using expressvpn and it's geolocating me in Miami.

Is your VPN putting you outside of Conus?

Hmm, that works too. Here's Germany.

Weird, I have used Apple's VPN (Miami), NordVPN (been using that for years), Norton's VPN and IPVanish same thing. Their CloudFlare always blocks me even using closest access. Never has a problem on any website anywhere except this. Maybe my IP is in their Cloudfare blacklist although I forced changed my ComCrap IP multiple times. I'll have to try ExpressVPN and see what happens.

Do you have the option to ATTACH a file in a PRIVATE message here?

I don't see a paperclip option in a private message. Pictures, links, etc. there, but no general way to do an attachment that I can see.

Well, after months and months of not being able to use a VPN (getting blocked by Cloudflare) suddenly today I am able to. I even created a new username (TEST1) and it let me in with a LA,CA VPN. We’ll see if that is a temporary opening of the firewall or permanently changed.

Still can't figure why a picture can't be attached in a private message though. Weird.

To support, I've gotten plenty of answers but maybe they just don't have an answer for you so they don't respond. As far as attachments I certainly have a little picture icon for images but for files I can tell you that it's the most common way to infect a computer
