Try to get all of your moving around The Villages done in the middle of the night.

Try not to pay attention when people in other cars are making obscene motions with their hands.

Take the number 88 off the side of your car.
lol. that sounds about right.

Per the detailed drawings of how to use the roundabouts - they have to be completely clear of other vehicles before you can enter it and nobody can get into it when you are in it.

Still a good idea to stop to say your beads first.

Really??? That means than only one car is to be in a roundabout at any given time. That doesn't make sense and it certainly doesn't happen in the roundabouts here in TV. Seriously...if a car is entering a roundabout at 12 o'clock, is the person entering at 6 o'clock supposed to see that car if there is a building in the middle of the roundabout??? That's not feasible.

Being from massachusetts where (rotaries) roundabouts are quite common I don't have any problems negotiating these roundabouts. When entering you always yield to the traffic already in the rotary. The difference here is there are two lanes in the roundabouts. If I'm in the right lane I should be exiting. If I'm in the left and I want to exit I should stay in the left as I exit and not move to the right. There will always be folks in the right lane not exiting and there lies the problem. So just be aware of their ignorance and proceed with CAUTION!!.Where are we all going in such a hurry?

Yep - really!

Look at the diagrams, the only time they show two cars in the round-n-round are when they are side by side and entering simultaneously from the same location and leaving the same location (they must prearrange this situation to be certain they follow the law correctly).

Chuck,

I think you have hit on a wonderful idea. There should be a little meeting area just before the entrances to the roundabouts. Drivers could all stop there and discuss an entrance and exit plan. They could discuss who is going to do what. Perhaps they could have a scaled down model of the circle on a board and the drivers could practice their actions first.

Just remember one thing, don't stop while in the round about. Yesterday on Morse Blvd. a lady came to a complete stop. Those of us behind her were checking traffic to the side and rear, we almost hit her. Come on April !!!!!

Yes?
Most likely this occurred in the wee hours of the morning (alcohol involved maybe?) which would explain why the Gate Attendant didn't know what had happened, as the Duval Gate is NOT manned from Midnight to 6 am. No Gates south of RT 466 (save Bonneybrook) are manned at that time.

As far as nothing appearing in the Daily Sun to explain what is obviously REAL NEWS is not surprising.
