Why are you cancelling your Low Speed Vehicle (LSV), is that what you are staying in?

I did chuckle at your post as DH had the same reaction at first. He was convinced after reading TOTV that the Villages was filled with a lot of hostile, nit-picky people. Our experience during our first visit was completely different from what we had read in TOTV. Everyone we met went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We were convinced there had to be a "hidden" dark side to TV so we came down 4 more times. We came at different times of the year and stayed in different parts of TV and every time it was the same. Perfect strangers chatting with us, offering us information, and going out of their way to answer our questions. Nearly everyone told us their only regret was they hadn't moved here soon. Now, after 6 months of living here, we have yet to see the ugliness that sometimes appears on this site. Seeing is believing, so come down and see for yourself.

The way I look at it, one more tee time for someone else!!! Must be something right about The Villages?? 70-80 thousand people can't be that wrong!!!! Good luck where ever you end up. Headlines will read "Input in, Output out" as Handyman said so nice.

I agree, I have been going to TV's for many years now...I just recently purchased a home in Caroline..Not retired yet but go there on all my vacations until i do retire...I have to tell you that a long visit with an open mind with a friend or two from TV's would open your eyes to some very friendly people and neighbors..Is everyone perfect ? Absolutely not...Is everyone rude? Absolutely not....But overhaul there is nothing like TV's..If you are there when I am there e-mail me and I will show you around and buy you a beer at my favorite bar.... floydsmith23@yahoo.com

Villages is great. There are bad apples in every community but can not spoil the whole bunch. 98% is good and I can live with that
