And yes, It is called concrete after it is all mixed, but that is the last thing we are worried about the correct terminology when a accident has happened.

Kitty thanks for the post. I was going to post lastnight, but we were at the accident with our truck.
Thank you GaryW. We will be praying for him and hoping he will be o.k. When I see your name, I know you will give us valid and reasonable information.

OOps. I will have to change my childhood song from "Cement mixer putty putty" to "concrete mixer putty putty."

In the 40 years I have been involved in residential and commercial construction; I have seen a handful of trucks turn over and nobody has been seriously hurt (well except their pride, usually due to the error they made that caused the truck to turn over).

My husband and I witnessed it happen. We were sitting at the light on 466A west to turn left onto Morse, the cement truck was coming east on 466A.

It appeared the driver was either coming too fast to make the right hand turn onto Morse or he clipped the right side curb as he turned and tipped the truck in that manner. It all happened so quickly it was hard to tell.

All I can say is , it went over like it was a toy. I do hope the driver is okay. It was a scary sight to see.

As an aside note, we called 911 but could not get through, I think they must have been flooded with calls from people in the immediate area.
