If my kids and grandkids were coming to Florida just to be entertained and not to enjoy spending time as a family with us, then they can stay home. So far, it hasn't been a problem.

I agree, some warm clothes, heaters for the players and it could be fun. I know, all the natives are saying stay up north....not nice, but honestly the square is one of the biggest draws for the visiting families, it's all they talk about and want to do.....and that's a good thing, it's fun and special to the villages. My thought is why don't they do everything and anything to make it happen. It's a very positive thing.
Merry Christmas
Ridiculous! How could you even think that musicians should be playing, guitars and drums in 30-degree weather for hours? Figure out something else to do with your family!

This is an embarassment to be honest.
This isn’t the Northeast. To expect bands to play in this cold weather is ridiculous as is calling it an embarrassment.

Myself being northeastern disagree with a a great deal of northeaster cultural policies which make no sense,. To a great deal of us. That is why a lot of us have moved to other states like Florida.

Where there's a will, there's a way. This is my opinion. No barking necessary, my family is not visiting this year, they are spending with up north gramma , but i still enjoy going to the square and watching the little ones enjoy the villages, who wouldn't....Merry Christmas and cheer to all.

There is not a will. They decided to close the squares.

I thought that businesses finance the squares’ entertainment. I guess when it gets too cold not enough people spend money to make the extra effort worthwhile.
