I am trying to get people that want to learn and play Mahjongg at Churchill Rec Center on Sundays between 11:30am to 3:50pm?

My mom plays but my wife and I dont. She is 92 and cant teach.

Any villagers here wanting to play?

Anyone will to teach? There will be food available?

Which form of MJ do you want to learn? Have you looked in the rec center magazine for teachers? We found a lady in Fenney who teaches a beginner's class for American MJ a few times per month at her home, for $10. She goes through how to play the game, has wonderful handouts (10 pages) explaining everything, and then you go to a table. Each table has at least one, and sometimes two experienced players (her friends) who stand at your table and advise you as you play a couple of games.
She gave us a handout of the rec centers that have beginners tables with helpers, who the helpers are, and the days and times. Since she lives south of 44, her handout is only for rec centers south of 44.
My friend and I took the class last week and then went to one of the rec centers and played at a beginners table. The two helpers were wonderful. We plan to continue at the Fenney rec center on Tuesday mornings.

I bet you could find something like that nearer to you, even if you went to Fenney and took her class.
