Re: City Cart golf Carts
I know I'm resurrecting an old thread. But apparently there really are City Cars because my sister just bought one from a dealer on 441 in Fruitland Pk. They use a cab made in Germany with doors which swing back, a glass windshield with a wiper. Sounds like a nice cart but my reservation is where do you go for parts if this startup goes out of business? Maybe parts are interchangable? Since we're not in the market for a golf cart yet, I'll wait to see what her experience is. I believe the City Car factory is in Brooksville Fl which is not all that far away. Still, I'm somewhat leary when you google City Car and it comes back blank.

Here is a link to a googled "City Car" site. I'm not sure if this is the one referred to, but is sure is interesting...

What is the max speed of this vehicle? Is it a golf cart or low speed vehicle?

Re: City Cart golf Carts
It's a golf cart with two speed ranges. There's a 12 mph for the golf course and a 19.9 mph for the street. I can't believe today where everything is a click away on the Internet, that there's no mention of the City Cart--at least that I could find. My sister was initially attracted to the Curtis Cab which may be mounted on most mainline golf carts. On the Curtis Cab, the doors slide straight back. Whereas on the City Cart, the doors swing open and back and latch in the open position. Means you can't open the door all the way if parking is tight.
