That's certainly a possibility also.

Although I don't personally frequent the classifieds often (I already have too much 'stuff' ), my first thought when I see used items priced below $20...is that the seller may be having financial issues and is trying everything to mitigate those issues.

If so, I have a deep empathy for them.

May also be someone who's cheap, with much time on their hands. Why throw items away if you can make a buck or two ?
