OK, I’ve never made a comment on a dog poop thread, but I just have to vent a little.
One morning last week I was having a coffee and bagel on the veranda of Panera when dog owners boxer
takes a dump right in the ground cover under the big oak no more than 15’ away.
It really was pretty unappetizing to say the least!
The guy did pick up the poop and that was as bad as the pooping. What he did with the bag-o-crap I do not know!
Then less than 5 minutes later a woman’s dog takes a dump right across the street in the ground cover over there,
she did pick it up and walked down a little in the direction of the lake and sneekely slipped her sweet package in a trash
container on the square.
I just seems to me that there are some really inconsiderate dog owners TV.

It is more like 95% plus DO and the few entitled thinking, inconsiderate non-thinking folks do not!

However it seems our lives are inundated with the exceptions in life being treated as though they were general representation or conditions.

There is so much more good to talk about that some how consistently is over looked.
miss the whole point of the original post...it's about those that let their dogs squat where ever they want...it's ILLEGAL in the Villages...it's ILLEGAL in the county and it's ILLEGAL in the state. Call the CDD and report them. If you don't just be quiet.

If the dog’s gotta go, the dog’s gotta go.
Seems like these two dog owners were responsible. They both picked up after their dog. What should they have done differently.?

I may be wrong but I don’t think you are supposed to
put animal feces in the trash containers on the square!
The one owner sneakily slipped it in the trash,
she did look around to see if someone was watching though.
Obviously she thought it was wrong but not you!

And yes an dog has got to go, so why walk them in
an area where there isn’t a lot of grass
and also people eating!
Just not thoughtful or considerate.

Kinda tired of the dog poop posts, just like people were when I first got here and started ranting. Sad fact is, those that don't do the right thing, can't see that it's wrong and peg anyone that says otherwise as a dog hater. That being said, I did see a first last week at our mail station. A filled and nicely knotted dog poop bag just laying in the butt receptacle of the trash can that said "no animal feces please". I guess since they took that to mean INSIDE the trash, just leaving it in the butt tray would be alright! Wish I'd have seen them leave it.... SMH!!

I take Abby Gale behind the pool. Then I pick it up and bring it home and toss in the trash.

Now... since it goes in the trash, what is the problem with putting it in the trash in the square?

And further... since TV apparently, steadfastly and stupidly refuses to put a sensible recycling bin at the postal stations (which accumulate more paper recycling than some small nations), what's wrong with disposing of poop in those "trash" bins?

First of all I like dogs- I DO NOT OWN ONE.

It is an animal some people think it is a child.

For the lady who slipped the poop bag into the trash.
Would you rather she simply left it where it fell?

COMMON SENSE-rules are needed for those that are lacking.

The saturday farmers market in Brownwood. There are dogs all over the place where food is being sold. What to do? Two weeks ago some guy had a small white poodle or poodle mix. The dog, on a leash way too long to be controlled, the dog takes a dump. HE DID NOT PICK IT UP.
SURELY SOMEONE WOULD SHORTLY STEP IN IT. HE WOULD HAVE BEEN WRONG WHATEVER HE DID. Leave it there?
Pick it up and then continue to handle food that others would eat??????????

Good for you and us, that you pick up your
dogs poop by the pool!

Read the signs on the trash recepticles at the squares, they say “Please no animal feces”!

FOR ME-life here is too close. With everyone looking up each others butts.

I like dogs but I do not own one.

Laws-People THINK laws do not apply to them. I don't smoke either. I expect the cigarette receptacle is to prevent FIRES in the main trash section.

As I said, I do not own a dog. BUT, for those who are forced to put up with this cr-p AND THOSE WHO LEAVE IT.
The fact is NEITHER side of the issue wants to deal with this dirt.

Your dogs instinct-It will not poop where it lives. THAT IS SANITATION-DISEASE PREVENTION.

Thanks, Fred. But my point is why NOT put it into the trash? It goes in the trash (mine) anyway.

Do you put it in the trash in your kitchen? I don’t think so!

I’m just against dogs pooping where people are eating or leaving dog poop
in trash recepticles where people congregate.
It gets hot down here often, so what might be ok on a rare cold day,
can turn bad pretty quick on a scorcher!

Default Here is a question!

A question that may very well apply to the OP’s post!
Why do you think there are signs on the trash recepticles at the postal stations and the squares that state...
”Please do not put animal feces inside” ???
