We had a fender bender this morning and I am looking for a place to get the damage repaired. The insurance company (Progressive) has suggested Gerber Collision and Glass in Lady Lake. They would pay for repair to be done at a dealer (Toyota) if I want. I don't have any experience with any body shops in the area. Any recommendations?

I will also need a rental car while this is being repaired. Where is the best place for a rental car in the Villages area? We only have one car (and a golf cart) so I need something easy to access (Northern part of the Villages). The insurance pays $40/day for a rental.

Phillips collision Buick was excellent and insurance approved for a foreign brand car. Fruitland park.

Just had Joe Hudson which in the middle of the repair was bought by Gerber do a repair on my Camry.

Other persons fault (was not even in the car when she managed to back into me) and so far had to pay just the $ 100 deductible which we should get back.

Was supposed to take a week but in the middle they decided hinges needed to be replaced and it took two weeks.

Allstate pays up to $ 30 per day for rental and out of pocket cost for rental will be about $ 7 per day.

Works was done very well.

I used Hudson Collision in Lady Lake about a year ago. I looked it up and just learned it is now Gerber Collision. I had a small issue and they took care of it very efficiently and the damage was excellently repaired. They also worked with Enterprise Car Rental in Lake Sumter, They had a number of customers bring our cars to the collision shop on Monday morning. Enterprise picked us up and brought us to their store in Lake Sumter. They had cars waiting for us. When my car was repaired on Friday, I drove the rental to the collision shop, left it there and took my car home. Enterprise pickup the rental later and the fee was $50 a day. My insurance company paid the rental car fee. Very good experience from beginning to the end.

Our VW Atlas was recently involved in a roundabout accident, NOT our fault, VW suggested Crash Champions in Bellview. They did excellent work. Insurance is Progressive and they have been very responsive also. Also, if this is a late model car don't be surprised at the cost, one headlight module for our 5 year old car was (sit down) $1500, the total was close to $13,000. If you were not at fault do not forget to demand DOV (Diminishment Of Value) as your vehicle now has an accident on the Carfax report.
