Default McDonalds

The unemployment rate may be 3.4%, usually a fake number, but you need to look at the workforce participation rate which is around 63%. In other words, people who could and should be working aren’t. Not sure how they are paying for gas and food that has gone up in the last couple of years! Until that is addressed nothing will change.

I wonder how these places can afford to keep their doors open.
In certain locales they can’t. Locations that aren’t near the source of part time workers like high school students have difficulty in attracting workers. Specific to this location a high school student would need a car to drive from the high school to Colony. No transportation, no workers. The other issue is the minimum wage requirements. Fast food franchises are the hardest hit economically and when in some areas the minimum is $17.00 per hour, they will either reduce staff or automate, or close.

Fast food junk. I used to eat it but now, when necessary, I will pick and choose carefully. Recently tried McDonalds again after a long hiatus and could not believe how poor the food and service was. Why do American still eat this junk?

I went through most of these posts, can't imagine why anyone would eat the food from any of the "fast food" locations mentioned.

The U-6 unemployment number of 6.6%, instead of the U-3 number of 3.4%, may be a better number to look at since it essentially includes people who want to be working.

The minimum wage in Florida is $11 per hour.

I like the Arby's too, but it's scary that they been shut down for health code violations in the past.

Using the standard McDonald's hamburger as as an example I have noticed that the overall quality varies from location to location. And the service. I remember when the company was adamant about uniformity.

I have to admit, I do enjoy MacDonalds egg McMuffin, the only meal served with real egg.
I order two with a senior coffee and will eat it in their patio area outside.
Maybe it's the fresh air that makes it taste better.
