That said, I have had two outages this November. One for X1 only in early November and the brief one this AM for all television. My Internet remained up at all times during these outages.

If outages become the norm as this month, I could see myself agreeing with your position, but for now, I will simply wait and see...

aj.... we also had a couple of long outages this past summer while you were up north. Very unusual for comcast. In our first 7 years here we had fewer outages than we have experienced in the past 6 months.

Like you, if this becomes the norm, other options will be considered.

Yep, back on in BonnyBrook. Was glad to still have internet while it was out.
Didn't bother me. I have rarely not have service from Comcast and the couple times we did, it wasn't for long. We have had them 14 1/2 years.

Phew, so glad to hear Rubicon... I thought I was the only one. Comcast is great, have had no problems and when I do, they are here to fix it immediately. Also, I very rarely lost service. This mornings outage was very short lived so not a problem for me. However, for those that say its expensive, I will agree, but to me its worth it.

We have triple play with Comcast.
This morning we lost TV for less than an hour, but never lost phone or internet.
