Default Connecticut Villagers

I would love to hear from any Connecticut Villagers already living in TV or thinking about moving there. I will be moving to TV in about 2 yrs and I'm learning so much valuable info from TOTV! Can't wait to get to the Friendliest Hometown in America!!!

Kits,

I've been in the Villages for seven years and still loving it. I do keep a property in CT but I'm getting to the pointwhere I'd rather be here in Florida all year round.

Whenever you decide to come here, you're gonna love it.

Of all the people I know who are retired,,none of them ever said to me, "I wish I had worked longer." Think about that statement.

Good luck,

We currently live in Trumbull. Hope to be there also in two years. Lived in Milford for eleven years with my parents. Will not miss riding 95 from Trumbull to Norwalk.

Coming down for a week on 9/9/07, cannot wait. We were there last year and enjoyed TV.

Kits,

Yes, there is a Connecticut club and quite active I understand.

I am familiar with the Milford area as my family owned shoreline property on Silver Sands Beach.

I have a home North of you in the Hartford area.

As for missing your children and grands...not a problem. Just send them airline tickets and you'll be seeing them as often as you wish, also, you can include tickets to Disneyworld.

Welcome to the Villages.

Moved two years ago from Brookfield next to Danbury. When I retired, I asked myself "Self, why the hell didn't you do this five years ago????? Duhhhhhhhhh" ;D I worked for one company for 37 years. Since we've been here, trust me, you forget all about Connecticut.
