My only experience was stopping in and looking for snacks for our rental car loop through the middle of California - after having taken the California Zephyr from Chicago. Also walked out empty handed - and shell shocked. Still don't know if it was a TJ thing or a Berkeley thing. :-)

A year from now, the real estate agents will be listing resale properties as "easy access by cart to Costco"...

Yes, now that will actually be a selling point.

True statement. When we bought in Mallory Square we were told built out would be done at 466A which would have been in two years.

What kind of snacks were you looking for? TJ has snacks galore, especially in the section with the nuts and candies and such. I've not seen a larger array of those types of snacks anywhere. Mind you, I'm not a big TJ fan and am not a cheerleader for them but I was always impressed with this offering of theirs.

Again, I don't know if it was a TJ thing or a Berkeley thing, but there were no brand name snacks nor soft drinks that I recognized. I think I'd bet that there was nothing carbonated anywhere in that store. I did find a little bag of weird little Cheetos-looking knock-offs. The bag even kind of gave the sense of being homemade. (BTW, have been relatively recently informed that Cheetos can be thought of as vacation carrots). This now takes me back a couple of decades to when I tried to buy a six pack of beer during a trip to Philly for the national 50's grass courts. Further culture shock.

Why should the developer stop developing? They have a great thing going.

Not the point; they will continue developing until they get tired of it.

The point was that "the realtor said the Developer said..." isn't worth much. The realtors have said numerous things about the Developer's plans that ultimately were not quite the way things worked out.

Very often we have noticed that we know more about what is going on here than the developers sales reps. They seem to tell their reps only what they want them to know.

Costco announced a new Costco. In Stuart, FL about halfway between Palm and Vero Beaches. Another month or two (maybe three?) and ours will be listed on the site also. They list them when they are about 4 months away from opening.

2007 LSL was just taking shape while we were here.. returning In 2008 houses were sold in minutes because there would be no more houses built.

Just a sales gimmick (lie). Like ads on TV that say, "get yours before they are all gone". They are trying to pressure the buyer. And it works very well.

Actually it was only working for the houses that were near completion or built. There were only so many then it was done. Since it was such a frenzy some homes had 30 plus people per house on the list. That was before the computer lottery in use today. Most of the homes were PVs, and many chose to not buy, end of 2007 early 2008. Plus homes were $20,000 higher than those who waited for the same house 6-8 months later.
By the end of 08, houses were in abundance and discounted homes were everywhere. So nope didn’t really work as well as thought.

There is a back story on why the the stop at 44 didn't happen. Has to do with Wildwoods change of position and the original developer for Fenney. Not as simple as many try to make it but the narrative is always easier when you blame our developer.
