You must be buying for a large business or going every day because a $800-$1000/yr rebate @2% rebate for Costco credit card means you spend $40,000/yr to $50,000/yr there. Even if you figure in 2% MORE for exec membership (not sure if they both can be stacked) that's $20-25,000/yr. That's a lot of chickens and toilet paper (or hyperbole) !!! That being said Well's Fargo credit card gives 2% on everything where Costco card gives 1% on everything except Costco so in the end I got rid of my Costco CC (and I hate CitiBank).

No questions asked 90 day return policy on almost anything you buy, even on opened food products. This is especially nice because the bulk nature of the stuff you're buying.Their return policy is unmatched.

Kirkland (Costco generic) product line is very good. The Kirkland salsa is the best store-bought salsa I've ever tasted. The frozen tilapia is excellent. The bedsheets are very good. The toilet paper and paper towels are good. Most of the Kirkland products I have bought seem to be very good quality and reasonably priced.

They treat their employees well. I've talked to multiple Costco employees and it's not uncommon to find people who have been there 10+ years.

Edit: I want to emphasize the importance of the above statement. If a company can be as profitable as Costco is, be competitive in it's pricing, and still treat their employees well, that's good for everybody. It also seems to be a rarity today.

Prices are decent.

Meat dept and the quality of the meat is excellent. One of the best places to buy meat I've ever been to.

Bakery is the best. Their cinnamon buns, bread, muffins, cakes, are all excellent.

Absolutely. Because a Costco in TV would serve far more than just Villages residents.

Look at the housing going up for those people who will be working here and moving here in ever-greater numbers as TV continues its growth. Younger folks, many with families, will be looking for shopping venues and bulk buying is probably attractive to many of them. You see it now at Sam's. Sure, many Villagers are there but it is the younger folks with the overflowing carts that are becoming more and more prominent.

Costco knows what they are doing. Obviously they are looking down the road and see a VERY lucrative market.

We have a Sams cc and also get a nice dollar amount back. When you use it for travel, restaurants, clothing etc. it does mount up.
