That’s funny somebody that brought mansion actually doing labor in 1890….

My northern house is about that age and yes I have gas pipes in the walls for lights. I have renovated parts of the home but some pipes are still there. These Edwardian homes were built on magnificent stone foundations with several layers of bricks for walls. I love its history. I have every high end modern convenience but wherever I could I maintained the old - just as historic elements. My mother-in-law knew the man that built the home and he built also the rest of the street I live on. His son used to live in this house. Old neighbors knew the son. There is such a warm sense of continuity.

I don't know if we have been lucky or what but we have been buying both Samsung and LG products and never once have we had to make a call regarding a problem and this goes back to 2008. When we bought our first home in TV it came with Whirlpool appliances, immediately the dishwasher broke, they came on time and fixed it no charge, later the light in the fridge broke which still doesn't work right. I'll stick with LG an Samsung.
