Most pools have to be on a corner property, a pie shaped cul de sac lot or on a golf course, few lots have space between houses on the side or in the back for them. Pumps should be placed away from other properties and can be landscaped to hide, especially if you have a corner lot and there is little space between the houses on the side or back.
