The Governor's order is totally non-enforceable for the transportation industry.

There are already countries that require the vaccine. And the airlines will comply with the destination country health requirements.

Are the airlines going to quit flying internationally from Florida airports. NO

Same with cruiselines.

Mandatory vaccines are not coming because they are not necessary. A "smattering" of businesses have begun requiring the shot. And there is a debate between medical experts about whether or not a vaccine mandate would be helpful or harmful to certain groups.

There is apparently a surplus of shots, they can't give them away. More wasted tax payer money.

Anti-vaccine-passport is not at all the same as anti-vaccine. Anti-vaccine-passport is about protecting freedom from searches, anti-vaccine is about protecting the right to be misguided.

I have a passport (blue thing issued by the State Department) that is required when crossing an international border. I have never been stopped on the street and asked for my passport. I have never been asked for my passport when entering a business in the US. Vaccine passports are being proposed for just those purposes - stopping me on the street to verify that I can walk without a mask and stopping me at the doorway of a business to verify that I can enter. The act of stopping me and asking for the vaccine passport is the search (or demand for my papers) that I object to.

If/when I am on a cruise and the foreign country I am about to enter requires a passport or a vaccine passport or the completion of a form then I will decide if I want to enter that country. I have visited countries that demand those things of people walking down the street and I was glad I was able to leave. I have seen what it is like - I don't want my country to take even one small step down that path.

I hear what you are saying, I certainly hope it will never get to the level you are speaking of.
I was addressing the people who believe they should be allowed to even step aboard the ship without a vaccine...and not feel discriminated against- if there is no shot.
My point is, it's not discrimination....its the ship owners rules, and they have every right.
Of course, in time, there will be ships that will waive this rule and probably cost more.
But I agree, I want to walk my streets of fairport, ny without police questioning my vaccine status...but who knows, it may come to that.
