Actually, that is not true. Vaccination offers stronger immunity than natural infection. I just posted an article in another post about this.

Donald and Melania Trump both had Covid and both were advised to be vaccinated. They did get vaccinated.

I did see in a newspaper article that natural immunity likely does not last long compared to vaccination shots.
