There has been no factual posting that any children were involved.

For whatever reason you don't see signs like that any place in TVs. I think the powers to be do not want to offend anyone . It does not look too friendly if there are signs posted all over saying dont do this or don't do that , keep of the grass, ect. Sometimes signs are a good thing, just a little reminder.

And it is "friendly" or considerate to just deprive the residents?
Of the buffalo, the statues, the parades or New Year's Eve at the squares???

Any action taken or could have been taken had or has nothing to do with the developers or his reps being thought of as unfriendly.

That would imply the feelings of the residents are a priority in such matters and actions taken certainly do dispell that notion. And of course we all (I think) acknowledge their prerogative to do as they see fit.

Here is the statue which was in Brownwood, to the right of the stage.
And now here is the new trash can which replaced the statue.

That is pathetic.

There has to be a reason the statue was removed. The developers and design team have excellent aesthetic sense and I don't think they removed it for no reason.

There must be some difference, in terms of liability, between a development like TV and a city. There are suatues like this all over big cities, with kids constantly climbing on them. Not saying it's right for parents to let their kids climb on something potentially harmful to them, but it is done, and you don't see the cities removing their statues.

I wonder what the difference is.

Here's an evil thought. Maybe he had the villages pay for it and he intended to keep it for himself all along....I'm just saying things like this do happen.

Are you talking about Gary Morse, who has a billion dollars? What a great lawn ornament that statue would make.

A lot of people that get rich and stay rich are very frugal and idiosyncratic and pay attention to details and tax schemes that many of us would not even consider doing. That's probably why I'm not rich. My accountant says pay this much and I do. I have had business partners worth a lot more than me that would do anything and everything to save a dime.

As a relatively new resident of TV, it is hugely disappointing to read about the disappearance of the Buffalos and the subsiquest vanishing statues because of the litigious society we now live in. Nothing is EVER my fault! Like so much else that has changed in our Country, not for the better in my opinion, the "someone owes me" mentality is ingrained in our youth for sure, but sadly enough in the Baby-Boomer crowd as well.

Boy Howdy.

Do you suppose that it developed a crack or a glitch and has been returned to the manufacturer for repair?

My 73 year old brain under this kinda blonde lookin' hair tells me that since the rest of this place is run so beautifully by that billionaire that got there by just doing it the American way that this too has some reasonable explanation.

This thread is a real result of it being too hot to play outside much and frequent rain that is cutting back on our golf and pickleball.

You just wait and see. This mystery is not a dark ugly situation.
