Just wandering, can you spread your ashes in the Villages, or do you have to have permission first......

Thank You....

Yes, just don't ask for permission.

Spread some of my Dad’s ashes into Lake Sumter off the bridge between the 7th and 8th holes on Riley Grove at Palmer (my Dad’s favorite golfer). Also, had T&D put some of my Dad’s ashes into the cement mixer when they poured the shell for our swimming pool. It’s no wonder my wife and I enjoy our pool so much : )

It is sometimes better and easier to apologize, rather than seek permission.

Sorry for your loss. Not to be insensitive but you could strap the urn to the back of the golf cart and let them fly.

We spread both parent's ashes near their memorial bench on the Hawkins walking trail! We did not ask for permission.

nah,

CoachK wants her ashes spread at a golf course, yet to be decided, by filling in my divots, if I am still able to golf by then. .

Or I can go into the brambles where she loses her balls most often, and then built a little sign and place it there saying "Here lies Coach K and most of her lost balls"

It depends. See this for details on where you may and may not.

Do we have to wait until you're dead first?

the best would be a Viking cremation:

find a wooden boat
place the body in the boat with wood for a fire underneath it.
put the boat in a body of water
light the boat on fire with enough wood to cremate the body and then burn the boat

Being catholic, my religion does not allow for ashes to be spread. The ashes must be kept together in a waterproof urn.
