Default Cutting ropes on golf course

Wow, I couldn't beleive our wonderful villagers are actually cutting the ropes where the golf courses are asking us not to walk or drive on so the grass has a chance to grow and not turn into mudd
I was surprised to learn that folks instead of walking around the area or step over just simply cut the ropes, wow.
Has anyone else noted the ciut ropes?

I've been playing golf here for 10 years. Never seen it, never heard of it. Don't believe it.

It is probably those darn coyotes that are chewing the ropes or those pesky wild pigs sharpening their tusks.

You can find the cut ropes at the Town squares tied to chairs they are being used to save seats

All right!!! Now we're getting back to the subjects that really matter around here, instead of all the political and classified mumbo-jumbo!

I've never seen it.

I had a situation last week where I missed a green and a rope along a cart path interfered with my back swing. I pulled the stake holding the rope out of the ground, got the rope out of my way, played my shot and put the rope and stake back. Pretty simple procedure.

I've never seen the cutting of ropes on any of the executive courses. I too. will pull a stake, take my swing , and always place it back. Never cut it.

Never seen this
Never heard of it
Do golfers carry a knife or scissors with them for just this purpose? I doubt it

They could of run over a rope with their golf cart. Sometimes when ropes are in a place that is not expected and golf cart windshields are not the best, you could overlook one. On #3 at Allamanda at Cane Garden, the Par 5 that has the tree in the middle of the fairway and lake down the left side. Since we were on the 90 degree rule, last Tuesday I was driving my cart down the right side of the fairway until the cart path ended. At the very end of the path was a rope directly across the path, the rope was also obstructed from my view by the metal bar where the windshield hinges and if not for my partner yelling rope, I would of rode right over it. Having lived here 5-1/2 years, I've probably played at least 250 rounds on a championship course and have never seen a cut rope.
