The Daily Sun does grab stories from associated press to 'fill out' their 2 to 3 pages of condensed news. The staff only writes about the villages events. Of course they include articles from some surrounding retirement communities, they want you to see how much better you have it here with all the facilities. I'm not saying that the paper stinks, you just have to realize what it is. I won't even get into the columns all written by extremely biased republican columnists.

As a matter of fact they posted two burglaries in the above article with a total of four sets of clubs. You read too fast Lew.

There was an article in this morning's paper about the golf cart robbery too, along with many details. I don't know why there is no article yet in the Sun about the golf cart accident on that little bridge last Saturday. Maybe because there wasn't a police report?

The golf cart theft was in today's paper. I like the Daily Sun! I think it is the bargain of the centure for $.15. The local paper from the town I left, Rockford, IL., was a complete joke. It cost way more than the Sun, you have to pay extra to read it online, and the whole paper can be read in 3 minutes or less! Very little national news, and very liberal slant. Stop bashing the Sun, or better yet, have a subscription to a major city's newspaper delivered. I don't need to read about the murders, stabbings and car thefts. I know they are there, but I don't need them with my breakfast!

That being said...the television "news" here is something to be desired as well. All robbery, murder and mayhem and the political scene. Hardly any sports news or really something worth watching.
