Speaking of priorities, with all the misery going on in the world you take the time to whine about a newspaper not covering a disaster that is all over the media. I don't get it....

For what it might be worth...of course anyone has the right to express likes or dislikes, pros and cons.

The only reason I even posted was the TONE of the op....it was sarcastic and pompous.

AND the Op surely did not even read what others have posted, as his/her sarcasm continued with "albeit a day late" even after reading about the lack of resources and time available.

Disagreeing or complaining is fine and normal, but when done with arrogance and a superior attitude, I find it offensive. AND THEN to respond as if nobody else ever posted or commented on the complaints, well that paints the picture for me.

More to this than the OP has said.....would be nice to have folks being honest and straightforward..that makes for discussion of ideas. Hard to believe that the simple small item in the paper overwhelmed what actually happened and sent them to the keyboard to defend all that is right in their mind.

"Sarcastic, pompous, arrogant, superior attitude?"

I've been under the impression that direct attacks, like this, against other users....is not tolerated.

Have I been wrong?

So catering to world/national news instead of local news is a higher standard?

I think you might be correct...although you were not involved.

My post was to explain and respond to those criticisms of me...you may have been one of them.

I know only to respond honestly....that is why I responded as I did, and I also know I am not alone in that thought.

Discuss what you want but leave the condescending attitude. We all can come across like that in a forum, but to continue after reading is a bit off putting

This thread is hopelessly off track and turned personal and will be closed.

The original question, Daily Sun coverage of the OK tornado has been resolved.
