Default Designer home (e.g. Gardenia, Begonia, etc.) questions

As I downsize in planning for my TV move, I have a couple of questions regarding closet sizing, attic storage and garage.

1. Do you have a single linen closet, or one per bathroom? What's the width and depth dimensions? How many shelves?

2. Do the bathrooms have a medicine cabinet? Or only the master bathroom?

3. I've seen the long and tall cabinet door in the kitchen area, and I'm assuming that's a pantry closet/shelving. What's the width and depth and how many shelves?

4. If I put some shelving in the garage, how hot does the garage get? Can you safely store spare paints, dry goods, paper goods, etc in the garage? Is installing some attic type fans in the garage a good idea?

5. Garage attic storage. I know it depends on the home, but ballpark, how much is there? I have some Xmas ornaments and D56 stuff, some books, boxes of knickknacks, etc.

6. Again, I know it depends on the home, but is generally physical space and amperage in the garage for an extra refrigerator or freezer? Also, for a whole-home surge protector (either from SECO or installed by an electrician) is there normally enough space left in the circuit-breaker box? (I've been told you need 2 "slots" from Pike)

Many thanks in advance!

Kevin

Many of your questions will be answered by just going online and getting the house plans.

We have a Gardenia:
1. 1 linen closet just outside the guest bathroom, however there is a large cabinet in the master bath for linens.
2. Master bath has 2 medicine cabinets, one for each sink, and one in the guest bathroom.
3. Cabinet is 2 foot by 2 foot, ours has 5 pull out shelves, but these can be moved and more added if necessary (after you buy.)
4. This depends on the direction the garage faces, ours faces North, does not get real hot. I store lots of paint there, moisture is a bigger problem. I also have a attic fan and added vents in the garage door.
5. Attic storage is adequate, HOWEVER you need to consider the effect of heat on the items to be stored. Attics get hot here.
6. This depends on what else you are putting in the garage, if you get 2 cars, I do not think you will have room for the refrigerator. Yes the wiring will handle the refrigerator if you put one in.

Our house would do everything you want, but we built, and have 3 stretches, so ours is a fairly large gardenia.

I have a Gardenia with golf car garage. I have 3 5' high cabinets from Sam's and a freezer on the left side of garage. Fits fine.

We have a Gardinia, attic storage is about 10 ft X 10 ft. There are extra slots for adding circuit breakers in the electrical box. We have a refrigerator in the garage but had to add outlet to place it where needed. Garage gets hot, we have west facing doors. We insulated garage attic and doors and installed mini split. Get biggest garage you can afford. Ours is 3 car and wish it was at leasr 4 car. Storage space is scarce. Not much closet space in house.
