Default Designer Model Tour....

Today many Villagers had the opportunity to tour Designer model homes in Buttonwood. Invitations were sent out a bit ago. A pleasant bus ride from the Sales Center to Buttonwood took only a short while. When we arrived, there were many homes to visit in one area and additional homes in another location. The Villages had 4 and 6 seater golf carts to shuttle people from one site to the other if they didn't want to walk. Nice to have that available. Cold bottled water was available as well as portable potties....nice if you've been drinking water and suddenly found you had too much ballast...

The homes were lovely and I enjoyed much of the decorating. It was nice to see variations on the models I'm familiar with as well as new models now available.

Buttonwood is going to be a beautiful village...and I'm thankful there were buses to take us back because I didn't have a clue how to get out of the place!....

Yes Buttonwood is/will be a beautiful village and from the neighbors I have met, they are GREAT. And to top it off, one of TOTV most popular characters, Russ Boston, will be a neighbor only a block away.

LOL....I hope not, too. Actually, I wondered how anyone living there felt about all the activity today, though it was a pretty nice crowd.

Congratulations on your new home and WELCOME HOME!

Oh no, double trouble....lololol. It's nice you'll be close to Russ. Enjoy your new place...and remember to provide maps for those of us from other parts of TV who might visit....and want to get back to our own homes (A pathfinder I am definitely NOT)

we just closed on our lot on queen palm place in buttonwood .... wont be building till after the first of the year ... we are leaning towards a lily without the kitchen wall but with the wall oven configuration for the cabinets (which totally changes the laundry room, btw).... any others on or near our street that can keep us updated as the neighborhood starts to grow??? also, any thoughts good or bad from those already living in a lily...wishing we could be there now... r & r

Congratulations on your new home. I live in a Lantana and have that kitchen wall...which does provide a place for a cabinet and the built in stereo system, but I do like the openess of not having that wall. Personally, I think if I had had a choice, I'd have opted to not have the wall....and asked for the built in ovens. Liked that in your model.

Next time I'm in Buttonwood, I'll look for your street.

Oh, I so wish we had been able to come down for this. It should be a nice area from what I have seen/read. Bottled water and port-a-potties was a nice touch! LOL

And the golf cart ride was nice, too. Today was comfortable compared to the last time we took a model tour. It was in the mid 90's and humid the last time we viewed new homes. Didn't have as much ground to cover so there weren't any carts to transport from one section to another.

Today we never had to wait, for the bus to the models, for the cart ride and finally for the trip back to LSL. It all went very smoothly.

This tour required tickets. I'm not sure how many were mailed out. I'm also not sure how many days this will happen. Most of the homes shown had upgrades that added to the cost, but all were lovely and the upgrades added an extra zing.
