Been there many times years ago. It used to have a wine cellar in the garage.

It's about 3500 sf, as I recall. Very nice place.

The private pool in the compound is for all "Hickory Heads" to use, but not you.

Skip. YOU always know the inside scoop. Was it Harold's home, or Gary's? There is no previous owner listed on Sumterpa.com

Is it just me or does this home seem to be underpriced at $768K?

Compared to other premier homes that I see for sale it seems to have a lot more to offer, but priced much, much less.

No golf course view.

Sandy says, "Not enough garage space"......

It's certainly a unique property!

I wonder why it features 3 photos of the kitchen and none of the rest of the house

8 Hickory Head Hammock, The Villages, FL 32159 (MLS# G4694400) - The Villages FL Real Estate - FloridaMoves.com

This listing has better photos, IMO, and also gives the room sizes for those prospective buyers out there.

Just click on the little arrow to the right of the small kitchen photos underneath the big kitchen photo. There are many more photos.

Jan...THIS IS FUN. I love to look at the "different" houses in TV. There are some but not many. I think the canopy on the bed is a little...over the top and I think the newer and smaller homes have prettier bathrooms, but that kitchen with all of the windows seemed so welcoming. BUT...I like lighter tile and cherry cabinets. So. I am picky.
