[QUOTE=fdpaq0580;2302155]No. We have seen them used where we lived before. The herd walks from area to area by the goatherd and his dog. They travel through the community cleaning out bush and bramble that amazed me. They "mowed" lawns, cleaning up the trimmings along with the weeds.
Goats produce milk that makes great cheese. Plus, they are fun to watch. And, as far as the buffet goes, they are good eating. If I was allowed, I'd get a goat for my yard here. Dump my yard service for cutting, weed and fertilizer. Even with my good sized corner lot, I might have to get a couple of neighbors to let me do their yards, just to keep the goat fed.[/QU

The copious amounts of chemicals poured on lawns around here, I can't imagine the poor goats eating poisons in those amounts... I know goats are know for eating anything... shoes, tin cans, but chemicals in such huge amounts might be a bit too much ? Just a thought. I agree with your comments, have also witnessed what a great job (in this case 6) goats can do keeping things in shape. They actually do a very neat job. Relatives in Missouri use goats, they are not on a farm, but are just outside the city limits so no legal restrictions.

I saw and smelled it at Laurel Manor at 466 and Buena Vista.
Where did it originate?

This past summer the east coast was coated with smoke from the Canadian wildfires. This is a picture of NYC, many hundreds of miles farther than Ocala National Forest to us.

Yeah! Can't trust those shifty, French speakers. Canadian conspiracy theories, anyone? 🙃
