It did not frost here in TV where I am. There was about a 6 degree variation of temperatures at 6:30 a.m from 38 F in the northern section of TV and 44 F in the south.

I brought, and I don't know why, three down comforters, probably because our Helene is ALWAYS cold, and we had some I was going to get rid of so...I thought I'd bring them. They felt awfully cozy last night.

I spent two hours last night trying to fully cover my seven-foot hibiscus bush. It was windy. The bush is two feet taller than I am. That was me with the sheets, safety pins, mop handle, and

It took two frost covers and I had to improvise when I attached them together. I learned that you cannot attach two frost sheets together with potato chip bag closers.

I would pay for a video of Barefoot working on that hibiscus in the wind.

Yikes is right, Tony. I think I'll just leave my hibiscus covered for the winter. It is an ugly sight to see me out there in the dark fighting with the cover and swearing.

Hmmm, or perhaps a plastic hibiscus bush would do the trick. But we live south of 466, so I guess the Village Bush Police would be knocking at our door.

It was really quite a sight as I drove thru my neighborhood watching people cover their plants with plasticbags, tablecloths, towels, bedspreads, and sheets! Now that even looks worse then all the lawn ornaments on the historic side! Much worse!
