Default Budweiser Clydesdales

Snapped a few quick pics, but I'm short and there were lots of spectators!

Seeing the Budweiser Clydesdales in person was a thrill. The horses and the carriage were gorgeous. The huge crowd was appreciative. Another great Villages event.

I would like to know how many people were there... the most crowded event I have been to since I moved here in December. I would like to see the web cam footage!

Thank you for posting pics and video. Went to see them ,but left. Was to start at 4. Overheard the trucks didn't pull in until 4:30. Announced that they would make two laps around the Square. At 4:45 still no sign of a horse ! My big concern was for us seniors standing around for quite some time--not good. Surprised that no one went down.

So sad.

When in high school in Ft Worth, TX, my son worked at a stable. Once a year the Clydesdales were stabled there while in town for the rodeo. They were beautiful animals and you would not believe how pampered they were by their care takers. It was such at treat to see them up close each year.

we got there about 3:50pm....we thought the Clydesdales would be in the square about 4pm....got a great site to watch, except it was so hot. My Patrick got bored, found out that the horses wouldn't be going by until at leat 5pm. There were announcements from the stage at Paddock Square stage, unfortunately we were behind the stage, so we didn't hear anything. Unfortunatley, we had to leave, poor Patrick just got so hot and impatient.

It's true. It was hot, and the horses did not appear at 4 PM.
But they were worth waiting for!
Beautiful animals, and the Dalmatian standing on the carriage added a "Norman Rockwell" touch.

A complete stranger standing next to us went to get a beer. He brought us back two cold ones.
The Villages really is a friendly hometown.
