Default Disconnect on new trash policy

I received a very nice brochure on the new trash collection which will start at some unspecified date. The change was justified by all kinds of wonderful environmental and COST savings In the same envelope was my Villages Utility bill which included a foot note that beginning on October 1 my trash rate will increase by 14.75%. Humm?

Without this change, it would have gone up much more.

China no longer accepts our trash/recycling. Recycling is more costly than mining ore or cutting trees. More economical to burn it for energy.

Changes to NSCUDD trash services and a chance to make comments were provided to the public over a year ago. Please read this 08/18/2019 discussion that lasted many months.

Burning to produce energy is like recycling.
