People had heard that events at the squares were not going to happen. Some accused the Developer of being cheap, others thought it might be because the squares were becoming too crowded. This looks like a plan to keep some of the events while attempting to spread the crowd between multiple squares rather than packing everyone into a single square.

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works.
