Not looking for joke answers. A serious question.
Joe Rudi, a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame and a key player for the Oakland A's World Series victories in 1972, 73, and 74 moved to TV three years ago. He is an amateur radio operator known to all the other operators.

Unfortunately, Joe never made it to the Boston Red Sox, despite Charlie Finley selling him and Rollie Fingers to the Bosox, in 1976.

Gary Corsair lived near the Villages and wrote a few books. One of these is about the Groveland Four. The other is about history of high school basketball in this area of Florida.
This was around Memorial Day of 2007. I would sometimes run into his wife and their dog at Doggie Doo Run Run before they moved north.

I met a number of people with connections to the rich and famous at that dog park like a man who worked high up in a certain house, a man whose daughter is listed rather prominently in credits for Saving Private Ryan, a NYC retired labor lawyer, a retired DC patent lawyer, etc.

Default In my mind he was a celebrity........

As a Home Health Care RN in TV, I had the incredible privilege of signing up a gentlemen who was a retired Tuskegee Airman. A true celebrity in my mind. A man willing to risk his life for our country.

Rennie Stennett Lived here at one time he has since passed. Played 2nd base for Pittsburgh. On September 16, 1975, Stennett became the only player in the 20th century to have seven hits in seven at bats in a nine-inning game, as Pittsburgh routed the Cubs, 22–0
