there are people that WISH ..this was their only problem to deal with..this isn't a problem...you have a couple of choices
grab a waterhose and spray down your driveway
or pick it up and sling it onto neighbors driveway
leave a laxative treat in sirloin tips in driveway.. a lot of them
leave your poop in their driveway lol
talking to your neighbor probably WONT work
not even in Americas Friendliest Hometown
a neighbor war is just NOT worth the time or trouble ever..
Nicoletta, I would not choose option 3 if the dog is going in your driveway!

Maybe Republicans and Democrats will learn to cooperate for the good of the country.
Maybe we'll find a way to cooperate and have have peace in the Middle East.
Maybe we'll cure most of human suffering...............
But we ain't gonna solve this issue.
Dogs gotta walk.
Dogs gotta poop.
Owners gotta pick it up.
Those owners who don't are giving dogs and owners a black eye.
All poop does not come from dogs.
What do you want?

I am truly sorry you are having problems with a pet in your neighborhood. I do have to say that other than your property, all the other grassy areas you mentioned are all common areas to be shared by all residents. I as a dog owner have just as much rights as any non-dog owner to use these areas. Remember the uproar over the Tamarind Grove postal area not allowing dogs -- that didn't last long and once again dogs are allowed to walked in that area.
To say we aren't portrayed as a "dog friendly community" all you have to do is watch the video in the last v-mail. I think it does indicate we can walk our dogs in all common areas not just the dog parks.

it's not the dogs fault, it is the trainer. that is the reason our pool/park area is loaded with poo and urine smell. everyone has a yard, use your own property as a toilet, not all the common grounds. the green spaces will soon be brown spaces.

I agree with CFrance's post. I also walk my dogs in the middle of the street and do it when the streets are cooler in the early morning or evening. I don't let them go on anyone's lawn. I try to make them potty in their own yard before we leave for a walk but sometimes it happens on a walk so we pick it up. If it happens, it's in the street and not on someone's property. I also believe I don't have the right to go on anyone's property. I don't believe that grass is sacred, but I believe that what doesn't belong to me just simply doesn't belong to me and I don't have the right to have access to it for any reason if someone else owns it. I'm not looking for an argument, just stating my beliefs. I also felt this way before I moved to TV about other people's children playing in my yard or people walking their dogs in my yard.

If you read the letter/notice on the bulletin board at Tamarind Grove Postal station, the grassy areas around the pool/postal station are PRIVATE PROPERTY, and as such are not to be used as a dog walk area. Can't be much more specific.

We need a club in the Villages for dog hating lawn lovers. Imagine the fun they could have inspecting lawns for little brown spots and misplaced poopies. And, these activities would keep them off the golf courses, out of the bowling alleys, away from the town squares, absent from the activities of the 1,000 other clubs and sponsored activities at the Rec centers ... leaving the rest of us with more time to enjoy ourselves. In the unfortunate event that one should pass from their ranks, their beautifully manicured lawns can be used to cover their gravesites. They say you can't take it with you, but snuggling eternally with one's perfect lawn is surely a reward for time well spent here on earth.

I think ANYONE would object.
I have female dogs and I know exactly what you are talking about. The subject seems to be dog poop, not pee.

At any rate, it would appear that some of these old people have nothing better to do than to sit and watch out their window to see who these culprits are. If no damage is done, I fail to see what the problem is other than the fact that they may just be dog haters. I mentioned in a previous post that the lawn people are the ones who do some damage with their equipment.

You don't seem to get it. We don't hate dogs, we hate dog crap...and some of us hate radical, arrogant dog owners.

Come and look at my lawn, too! Will show you the 'repair' bill as well!

You seem to be bent out of shape for no reason and make it sound like your grass looks like a dozen mine fields have blown up on your property. Lighten up or get a job. It will be more fulfilling than ranting and raving.
How much coffee did you drink today?
