Assume you're from up north. What other reason would there be to degrade a southern accent???? Southerners are offended by northerners loud accent but we dont complain about it here

The BarxBuddy works wonders. It can be found on Amazon or Google.

I have the same problem. We live in a patio villa. Our neighbors leave their 125lb golden retriever at home alone. Their window is at the side of their house just 8 feet from my patio. Barks every time we go out side for as long as we are outside. I made all the calls you did.
So much for peaceful enjoyment of our property. Shame on disrespecting neighbors who think “They have arrived and can do anything they want,” |

I love dogs, so when I had this problem up north, I got to know the dog. Once we were friends, he never barked at me again. Unless you have a severe allergy, make friends with the fur baby.

It shouldn't take long for this problem to go away, especially if OP can take her own dog over to meet & greet.

Most dogs bark because they sense a threat. If they can “see” what it is that they are sensing is a threat and get eventually realize that the threat really isn’t a threat, they usually stop. This may be difficult given the fencing, but perhaps you and your neighbor can come up with some sort of “window” so her dog can “see” your dog and realize it is not a threat!

OP, this situation “is just your luck”. In The Villages you can choose your home but not your neighbors.

This is an eye opener for me, as I thought The Villages would enforce the bylaws to keep the Communities reputation. I sold my house intending to make a move to The villages, then Covid hit. I decided to stay put a couple of more years before retiring & bought a condo with 20 pages of regulations. Within 4 weeks I realized no one enforces the bylaws, dog owners allowed their pets to run off leash, did not pick up the waste, and my neighbors 55 y/o son displayed his ‘junk’ as he urinated under my carport bc he & Daddy (81 yrs) didn’t like that I installed cameras to watch my vehicles. The police said it is not a crime to display yourself in public as long as no one physically sees you. But it’s ok to be on camera. What has happened to this world?
