Default Donating a dining room table.

I have a dining room table in very good condition that I would like to donate. The problem is I am keeping the chairs. Does anyone know of a charity that would take just the table? The veterans thrift store on 44 will only take full sets.

Try St. Vincent DePaul.

You might try the Baptist Thrift store off Citizens blvd. I think they will even pick it up.

If you don't need a tax deduction and just want to be rid of it, you can take some pics and list it on Craigslist under the FOR SALE / FREE section. You will probably get dozens of people offering to take it off your hands.

Or, just put it at the end of your driveway with a "Free" sign on it. The lawn workers (or someone) will take it and use it or sell it - they certainly could use extra income.

When I retired I ran a Habitat Restore in Northern VA. We would get primo stuff but virtually never could sell dining room tables, only the chairs. We stopped taking "table only" right after we stopped taking pianos.
