If you want a local attorney, I got a quote from Kathren Linn, PA, 352-330-1263, for $580. It still seems high to me.

I called Mclin Burnsed and they told me that their new name is Campbell. Their price for a ladybird deed is $650 plus the recording fee.

You just take it to the county clerk and they will receive it and stamp it. You will get a stamped copy proving that it was recorded. Very easy.

I printed the form you linked in post #35. I've looked it over several times. DIY seems like the way go. Thanks for all your efforts regarding this matter.

So what if you mess up. It is only your children who will face the dread of trying to fix your legal mistakes. I can't wait for a posting on do-it-yourself open heart surgery! Why pay a doc when we all have sharp knives in the kitchen! |

The best DIY lady bird link is "Law Depot.com". They have a more professional looking deed than the other mentioned link. I also did a revocable trust with there form. When you go to their web site just use search, put in lady bird deed Florida.
There is a 1 week free, download your completed deed and cancel subscription. Print it, have it notarized and take to county for recording. Last edited by KAM+6; 07-24-2025 at 07:12 AM. |
