Default Drama and Theater teachers ?

Are you retired here from teaching Drama?
I'm looking for people to help me with a screenplay.

I live in the Village of Hillsborough.

Has anyone come forward? This is the fourth or fifth time you requested. Each with different threads. Another suggestion, tell us about you, where you are from and why you are interested in theater and film.

I would be surprised if you got any bites from TOTVers.

I would not be interested.

BUT, may I offer something that could help you to help yourself:

Several weeks ago here on TOTV, I started a thread about MasterClass. If you go to masterclass.com and look through the offerings there, you will find quite a few on the topics you want to learn more about.

The site says for $180 you can sign up for one year to access as many classes as you want.

At least go to the site masterclass.com and scroll through the offerings. I think you might find there exactly what you need to move forward on your own.

I can understand why you are getting little response. We are working on our own projects. My best suggestion would be to go to Barnes and Noble and check out their screenplay writing section. There are hundreds of guides, some are step by step. You'll find that there is a specific format and sequence of events that must occur for a successful script. Books by Syd Field are particularly helpful. Also buy and study, "The Hero's Journey" by Joseph Campbell. I'm new to The Villages and have not explored the writing clubs, but you could check them out.

Also, write, write, write......

There is a freeware multi-platform scriptwriting program called Trelby will get you started in the right direction.

I would be more than willing to read/ critique your completed script for you. Send me a PM when complete.
