Unless something has changed recently it also includes wine. They do a very nice pour btw.

The alcohol content has nothing to do with the price of booze. If it did, then a bottle of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grand Cru (vintage 1945), a pinot noir, wouldn't cost over $100,000.

Default drink prices at squares

It's a good idea to always ask the price before they pour it if it's not a common drink. Clearly $14 is well overpriced ; I would make a call to the manager.

I'm quite sure no bartenders ever over charge and fill the tip jar. Unlike every normal restaurant bar, there are zero controls at those square bars , it's more like a wedding reception in your back yard. Pretty much anything goes ,

Always enjoy how far posts can get from the original post.

Hmmmm, so you’re implying that a Snowbird, who owns a home in the Villages and pays all the same fees as a full timer, plus more (no homestead exemption), somehow isn’t a Villager?

Not my classification scheme - as I mentioned, I haven't learned to tell the difference.

I am not going to wait 30 minutes in line for a drink.
If they chose to they could indeed make you put your cup back in your car. The rule is "NO outside beverages". You could argue, "I'm staying hydrated". To which they could remind you water is for sale, or have you stand on the sidewalk. My point is- if they chose to they could shut you down with your Yeti.

Yes the could. As they watched attendance at the squares plummet.

"If they chose to they could" but we all know how many of the other rules they enforce in the squares like saving seats for example. We barely go to the squares any way. When we did I would be hard pressed to stand in their lines to buy their drinks. More than likely the only way you'll get caught is if you act like an ass in public and do something to draw attention to yourself.

If you were caught with a drink brought in illegally, would the yellow jacket patrol make you dump it out in the nearest bush ? Or make you chug a lug , or make you leave the premises ? The announcement before the band starts simply gives the authority to remove any patrons that are obnoxious.

Many rules--little or no enforcement.

They could never enforce this. Water bottle could be half vodka. Yeti cup Jack and Coke.

Their beer isn’t cold enough for me to buy it.
