We have just about decided to get the Master Spa Micheal Phelps Momentum Swim Spa. Anyone have this brand? Comments? It is above ground, 19 ft long and 51 inches deep, combo swimming and separate divided hot tub. Uses the ozone method. Ordering Monday, sure would like feedback on this...

As I recall, you are in the new bungalows, sort of like CY villas, but, it may still be prudent to call the community standards office to make sure there is no deed restriction/covenant issue with putting something so large above ground in your lanai area. Should be OK, but doesn't hurt to ask and be sure.

Thank you for that advise. I think I am ok as I had my contractor checked but I do not think he mentioned the dimensions. I will do this on Monday! Yes, 19 feet, it is the largest one you can get but it is combined with a hot tub. Very fun. Therapeutic. And great for excercise!

STILL...you probably should double-check due to the size etc. I've seen on TOTV where folks said their contractor checked but there was some "glitch" in that and there had to be an expensive "do-over". Just saying.....

I agree. I just emailed community standards, my realtor and my contractor. I figure with three people checking, I can compare answers and then if they are all different, I will call myself! But if I have it in email from the community standards, then I feel I have it in writing and am good to go...or not. I totally agree with what you are thinking. It is a BIG investment. And I need a crane to lift it in. So do not want to go to all that trouble and expense to find out it is not allowed. However, I do know above ground swim spas are allowed as I have seen them in TV. Just not sure about this long one, though it will be in a CYV, under a birdcage. Will let you know. In case anyone else asks....

Got the ok for the swimspa today after putting it in for approval. Ordering the Michael Phelps Momentum swimspa. 19 ft long and 8 feet wide above ground. Will need a crane to lift it over the house and into the backyard!

HAHA. Well with all the posts about the need for a fitness center and pools and hot tubs in TV, I am thinking I have a mortgage helper!!!! Just kidding of course. But it is awesome and I thought it would be great to be in the hot tub part of it during sunset which I have an awesome view of from the Haciendas at Mission Hills where we bought.
We are also bringing an eliptical which is as new almost as the day we got it and a professional model. Maybe it will get more use by us when we are retired at TV.
We are in a snowstorm in Seattle right now and I have closed my offices for 2.5 days because of snow and ice.
