Mrs Nuckster is the decider here. I'm am whipped and I'm told I like it. LOL. Can we swim-YES, Can we go to activities throughout The Villages-YES, Can I find a way to duck a golf cart somewhere around Brownwood-YES. Drive to Brownwood then cart all over like normal no problem, just have to think out of the box a little and make it work. It's not for everyone. It is nice and new, the only drawback for me is I get a little aroused when I see a Concrete Mixer...keep that quiet please. Living in a construction site is no thrill for me either. Whatever Momma say will happen, Amen? Peace Out!
The real problem is giving up where we are now in the Hysterical Side. I'm going to keep this until I'm sure we're solid in Fenney. Just hope I can swing it without being a landlord. We have such a good life I don't want to screw it up by having a tenant. Living over here Hysterically is Heaven On Earth. Peace Out Again!!

The best way Mrs. Goofy is on your own then you can wander around at your leisure then see from the Fenney gate to The Mother Ship is a Hop, Skip & a Jump. Someone had a real concern about safety the other day, mentioned carjacking...I don't think so. If anyone has anything in mind they better worry about the people who live there already, they seemed ready to protect themselves. Triple Peace Out!!!

Rapscallion St Croix,
Your post was so clever, humorous and well-spoken. I loved it and chuckled all through my breakfast. Bravo👍

As a future Villager (am going through absentee homeowner hell with a place Silver Lake) it cracks me up the lamentations about travel times; here in Brooklyn is takes an hour go "anywhere", and that's on the Subway, plus a half hour of prep for the expedition.

Yes, there is. You can take the trolley from Brownwood Sales Center. I am buying there next February and was down last month for a Lifestyle Visit. You have to have vision for Feeney. I live in Atlanta now, and I have seen this happen time and again. Just wait!

A more complete answer is yes all of the new sections south of 44 will be golf cart accessible.

Multi model paths are being designed/constructed. These paths will be connected to existing paths at multiple locations.

The driving distance from RT 44 to Fenney is less than the distance from Rt 44 to Spanish Springs.

I love the first quote ..... and my perspective is that The Villages planners have been pretty "spot on" for the past decade or so and I'm curious to see how they will make Fenny work. They are building like mad and obviously anticipate high demand in the near future. So many of the homes are the lower end models with lanai to lanai in the back - I was surprised at that. Time will tell.

I'd read all the previous posts if I were you. The answer you were just given was from a "Never Fenney" member.

They are not all lower end homes although that is what sells. There are 3 sections that are designer homes on water, quite a few built, quite a few sold, and quite a few lots on the water have been sold, these lots were between $99,000 and $139,000 and the homes between $400,000 and $600,000. Also once Buena Vista is completed it will be a lot faster to take a golf car from Brownwood at 44 to Fenney than it will be from the same spot to Spanish Springs or maybe even Lake Sumter Landing as that is how they will cross the turnpike via a bridge. Further east there will be tunnels under 501

Cool! Maybe by the time we get down there it'll be accessible by golf car. Thanks
