Default Earthquake 6/8/2026 2PM

OK, did anyone in our area fell the ground shake? I was bowling and did not notice anything.

Probably on John then . Hard to tell with all my grunting and groaning. Too many fiber gummies taken yesterday.

Not for us but from several news sources:

* Buildings were evacuated in parts of Miami as a precaution.
* Some elevated transit services in Miami were temporarily halted.
* Walt Disney World reportedly temporarily closed several attractions for safety inspections before reopening them.
* No tsunami warning was issued.

If your score was off then blame it on the ground shaking?

Yep - felt the tremor was on the phone and said, I think we’re having an earthquake. We live in Shady Brook - thought maybe it was from the mine. But it was confirmed. We lived in the pacific region and experienced them frequently so quite familiar with the feeling.

Yes! I was playing dominos with several friends and we all felt it and could see the leaves on the plants shake. We were in a multistory building on eEl Camino Real.

I was in Tampa on the second floor of a hotel and heard it (boom), but didn't feel it.

We didn’t feel it in DeLuna, but we did have work being done in our backyard at the time with loud equipment running cutting pavers. Weirdly, our power went out for a brief couple of minutes at that time, though we didn’t realize it until later because it was so brief. The outage was apparently widespread here in our village based on a post in our DeLuna FB group. Coincidence or not?! I told my hubby the EQ might’ve caused our power outage, and he just laughed and rolled his eyes.

Default Felt It In Sanibel Area

I felt it as a light rumble/shaking while sitting at the bar at Bonifay Country Club. Watched the wine in my hubby's glass do the ripple thing and said, "We're having an earthquake."

Also, according to the timestamp on our home's Furbo pet cam video, both of our dogs also woke up from napping at that time and looked around.

I felt it in Hawkins. I was sitting on a stool by kitchen counter and my first thought was our new refrigerator was making the vibration. It seemed to last 15 to 20 seconds.
