Default Electric Bill

We have a designer home and we keep the thermostat around 78-79. Our highest a/c bill was $155.00. Our gas bill is usually around $25.00

cha-ching.. I like it
I had posted earlier that our electric bills seemed low (don't listen, SECO...); JohnN's comes closest to what we pay in our Designer home, with the highest bill this summer having been $74. We are not there all the time, but this should have no more than a little bearing since most of the electricity goes for a/c, I would think, and we leave the a/c at the same temp of 78° whether we're there or not. Our house is not all electric; however, our last gas bill was $11. Other than the things I mentioned in my earlier posts in this thread, we don't do anything special, although we are careful. I am puzzled, but assuredly we have no complaints!
