How about a protest with a quarantine. Walk around your own home with signs, then break in and destroy your own stuff.

Yesterday, Saturday June 13th, I heard that it will possibly be sometime in the middle of July.

Default Square entertainment

The bartender at Bluefin in Brownwood told us last night they heard start date was July 6. I doubt if they know for sure.

If the rate of new COVID cases being reported continues to skyrocket here in Florida, it may not be until we learn to practice the recommendations of the doctors, and not the politicians. Or until a proven vaccine is developed and made available.

Could you point me to the study that you saw that gave you this info, or are you just watching Fox News again. Yes some of the increase in cases can be attributed to more testing but some is so attributed to less social distancing. No one knows the percentage each make up of the total case increase.

How does this relate to opening up the squares?

Here's a good site to track cases and deaths by state and total U.S. Florida is having an increase in cases while deaths remain steady for now.

Sure there is more testing because more people are feeling sick and therefore more sick people are being tested. You think people are just running around getting tested for no reason if they feel perfectly fine and then being found to be positive at higher rates than when this was "bad" ? Just coincidentally 1-2 weeks after Memorial Day crowds? Are more people DYING just because more are are being tested? DYING & TESTING aren't related. We remain very lucky here in the bubble at the moment but Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Miami areas aren't.

Florida COVID-19 daily total of positive tests/deaths for the last two weeks:
  • June 13: 2,581 / 48
  • June 12: 1,902 / 29
  • June 11: 1,698 / 47
  • June 10: 1,371 / 36
  • June 9: 1,096 / 53
  • June 8: 966 / 12
  • June 7: 1,180 / 12
  • June 6: 1,270 / 28
  • June 5: 1,305 / 53
  • June 4: 1,419 / 41
  • June 3: 1,317 / 36
  • June 2: 617 / 70
  • June 1: 667 / 9
  • May 31: 739 / 4
Wait until they stuff 12,000 people into an arena in Oklahoma or 6000 in Jacksonville. Listen to the doctors and scientists not to the politicians who are trying to impress another politician.

Overall, the state has tallied 73,552 coronavirus cases. The "overall" rate of people testing positive for COVID-19 is five percent, but that rate rose to 6.2 percent on June 11, according to a DOH statement.

Careful vigilance is a good idea but some of these rules seem baseless. How is an open-air farmers market safer than listening to live music outside? How is going to Disney or Universal or the beach safer? Based on what science?

Sometimes I wonder if they are really just testing us to see if we will follow.

Some of these decision makers are the same bozos who put COVID infected seniors in with non-infected seniors and are allowing anything-goes for angry mobs.

Not till October I heard and why would anyone be asking this or thinking that huge crowd events should come back right now?? Just asking?
I know I am keeping a common sense approach to expectations and not acting entitled for bad reasons. It’s clearly a bad idea to bring back large crowds at the squares with no distancing possible.
