Hopefully, someone will tell us!

Default visitors

I caught up to a visitor guy on the road he was clueless that he couldn't. They don't get instructions at rentals

The post specifically said no license plate.

No sure how "entitled" comes close to describing the situation in the OP. Maybe confused or lost would be more correct, unless someone asked the driver if he felt he deserved to be on the road instead of the path in an unlicensed vehicle. As to the "24mph". BFD. 2/3rds of the carts here do that plus I am sure the OP had his radar gun out checking out the guy's speed or drove 20 feet behind him to check it out.
Agree - we all gotta stop “mind reading” - humans are really bad at it.

I don't believe it said that when I replied. Note the original post was edited after. (The one time I don't quote the original...)

When we first came here we didn’t see where we were supposed to turn and ended up on BV and didn’t know how to get off. It seems simple now but not then

Were you crossing the street at a crosswalk?

Most golf carts traveling the streets/roads of TV got there by accident and are attempting to exit as soon as possible. Kudos to those that help them.
Is it mandatory for a street legal golf cart to have a visible plate that states it is a street legal cart?

No, just the Florida license plate.

Saw my first LSV on the golf cart path the other day. Good thing I keep myself up to date in these forums or I would've freaked out over an entitled automobile driver.

Nevertheless, whatever the cause, the problem still remains. As the Villages continues to grow the traffic congestion will only increase, and with it the chances for serious injury or death especially for those who operate golf carts or bicycles not just on MMPs physically separated from the roadways but on the roadways themselves. An 800 - lb. golf cart or a bicycle offers little protection when the other vehicle involved in an accident weighs 3,000 pounds or more.
or just confusion, period. i drove around here a month before i felt comfortable with all the turns, cart paths & roundabouts. then add in golf carts riding alongside me in the northern areas. i always give someone a pass, i know how tough it can be trying to figure it all out.

It's probably mandatory to prevent every other cart lecturing you on what roads you can drive on, how you can cross certain roads and the limit at which you must do either at.

True. I just ordered street legal stickers for side windows. Previously ordered custom “street legal” plate and installed on my basket in the back.
