Default EP Benefit Brunch

Just got back from having the brunch at Evans Prairie. The food was plentiful and good. The service was excellent. Customers were thanked profusely for coming.

I did find out that all staff working this brunch volunteered their time, many working until after midnight last night to set things up and help with prep work. They then came back this morning to further help and serve. Some will then stay on to work their regular shifts. So, please remember to tip if you can afford it.

Kudos to the owners and staff of EP for all of their hard work and willingness to help a staff member. It is things like this that make me proud to be a Villager.

My wife and I attended also, had the same positive & upbeat experience. I appreciate your background on the volunteer staff...these folks were very "dialed in" and attentive throughout. Praying that Lacey & her family can carry on in better shape now and that we will be able to assist further should the need arise later on. Glad I spotted the article announcing this in the paper recently or we'd have never been aware of this need. (For those that don't know, GM Lacey of Evans Prairie was struck by a hit & run driver recently & has been rendered unable to work, since. Believe she has a young daughter also.)
