Yup, Citizens First. They were great to deal with. The popcorn was a bonus!

If you are still in N. Carolina, you can check into Wells Fargo. There are several branches here and I know they are in NC as well. That's in case you will be going back and forth, it might be useful.

Thanks will look into them as well. Just trying to stay away from paying an account maintenance fee. I was with BBT until they pulled that and I switched banks. I had remembered seeing Regions and Suntrust when we looked around the area last month but both appear to have maintenance fees as well. Getting harder to find them without anymore.

RBC (soon to be PNC) and Wells Fargo. I have both. No fees or I wouldn't have them.

I have an account at Citizens and find they are great to work with and free checking. Because I still live in Virginia and travel to The Villages I also keep an account at BB&T which has offices here and every state between here and The Villages, plus several branches very close by The Villages. And free checking. Here in Virginia BB&T is a great bank to work with, not sure about there as have only used the ATM. But because we still drive up and down 95 a while longer, I will retain the BB&T account. Once there will consolidate to one, probably Citizens as they are golf cart accessible.
